Yes, we can do that, too. We do want to log in beforehand to do a risk analysis. If a website has not been maintained for a very long time, there is more chance that something will break when we do the updates. We may recommend replacing some plugins because they are outdated, for example.

The server on which a Web site is hosted greatly affects the performance of a Web site. If a server is poorly maintained, certain features of the website may stop working. If there are too many sites on a server or if the server does not have enough power, the website may load slowly. This is annoying for both visitors and the person who has to maintain the website. If the hosting is not hosted with us, we have no control over it and cannot guarantee a good performance of the website.

An additional advantage of our server is that in addition to the production environment (the live website) we can also create a staging environment. This is a copy of the website that is not visible live on which we can run tests and develop new functionalities.

We only host the website. This means that the domain name and e-mail have to be hosted elsewhere / can stay where they are now. We arrange this together with the current hosting party so you don't have to worry about it yourself.
